Mythology Summary

Egyptian lioness goddess, Eye of Ra sent to destroy rebellious humanity. Ra flooded the ground with beer dyed red with ochre so that it looked like blood; she drank it, became drunk and forgot the slaughter, and was pacified as Hathor. Both destroyer and healer. Plague-bringer and plague-curer. Solar fire incarnate.

Modern Practice

Invoked for fierce protection, healing through destruction, righteous rage work, solar magic. Teaches power of divine feminine rage, transformation through fire, healing and destroying as two faces of same force.
