Mythology Summary

Kronos is the Titan who rules the golden age and devours his children to stop a prophecy, until Zeus is hidden and returns to depose him. He is time as a force that eats what it produces, and his reign is remembered as both a paradise and a prison.

Modern Practice

Kronos is worked with at the end of a cycle, in Saturn's hour, and at the turning of the year. His practice is honest accounting: what is finished has to be finished, and what is kept past its season becomes the thing that consumes.
