Mythology Summary

Egyptian goddess of truth, justice, cosmic order. The feather against which hearts are weighed in afterlife judgment. Not enforcer—the standard itself. Represents cosmic order, balance, truth as fundamental principle. Without Maat, universe falls to chaos. Pharaohs offered Maat to gods—offering of order, truth, rightness. She IS the measure.

Modern Practice

Patron of truth-seekers, those maintaining integrity, justice workers. Invoked for truth work, maintaining balance, justice seeking, integrity. Teaches that truth is foundation, that order serves life, that integrity is not optional.
