Mythology Summary

Jormungandr is the serpent Loki's child, thrown into the sea by Odin, who grows until he circles the whole world and bites his own tail. He and Thor kill each other at Ragnarok, and his body is the boundary of everything that is.

Modern Practice

Jormungandr is not petitioned so much as acknowledged: he is the edge of the map. Work with him only in the sense of naming a boundary that cannot be crossed, and grounding afterwards.
