Mythology Summary

Merlin is the Welsh prophet and enchanter who advises kings, raises and is undone by Nimue, and ends in a cave or a tower out of time. He is the old way's last counsellor, and his story is what happens to wisdom that belongs to the trees rather than the court.

Modern Practice

Merlin is called on for prophecy, for counsel given truthfully, and by those who have left the world to keep their sight. His practice is the wood, the cave and the written prophecy.
