Mythology Summary

Arianrhod is the Welsh goddess of the silver wheel, whose castle Caer Sidi is the turning station of the stars and a place of the dead awaiting rebirth. In the Fourth Branch she is tested for virginity, bears two sons, and lays a destiny on one of them that he shall have no name, no arms and no wife of the race of earth — the story of a sovereignty that will not be taken.

Modern Practice

Arianrhod is called on for the long view, for fate and timing, and for work with the dead and the between-lives. Her nights are the full moon and the long nights of winter, and her practice is patience with a turning that cannot be hurried.
