Mythology Summary
Brahma is the Hindu creator, who speaks the Vedas and shapes the worlds, and who is born from the lotus that grows from Vishnu's navel. He is the least worshipped of the great three, and the tradition itself tells a story about why: he claimed a knowledge he did not have.
Modern Practice
Brahma is called on before study, teaching, writing and any act of making, and at the beginning of a cycle of work. His practice is speech and study rather than temple cult, and his warning is that a creator is responsible for what he sets running.
