Prolongation of life and length of days are the offices Agrippa gives the Saturn images, on the authority of Albumasar, who argues in his book Sadar that Saturn conduces to long life and that the Indians under Saturn's regions live to extreme old age. A second form is worked against the stone and the diseases of the kidneys. A third is for increase of power. None of them is for the malefic side of the planet: that belongs to the table and the spirit, not to the image.
A man with the head of a hart and camel's feet, seated on a chair or a dragon, a scythe in his right hand and a dart in his left, cut in the stone called loadstone while Saturn ascends; held profitable for prolongation of life. A second image, for length of days, is an old man in a high chair with his hands lifted above his head holding a fish or a sickle, a bunch of grapes under his feet, his head covered with a black or dusky cloth and all his garments black, engraved in a sapphire in the hour of Saturn, and also used against the stone and diseases of the kidneys. A third, for increase of power, is an old man leaning on a staff with a crooked sickle in his hand and clothed in black, made with Saturn ascending in Capricorn.
