Mythology Summary

Psyche is the mortal woman who marries Eros unseen, loses him by looking, and wins her way back through four impossible tasks to become a goddess. Her name is the Greek word for soul and butterfly, which is the whole story: what is tested, transforms.

Modern Practice

Psyche is called on in love that has to be earned, in long initiations, and whenever a person has looked at something they were told not to. Her practice is endurance and curiosity in the right proportion.
