Morpheus is the god of dreams, the shaper who takes human form within them; he is attested only in Ovid, one of the thousand sons of Sleep, and one of three Ovid names for them, with Phobetor (Icelos) and Phantasos. He is the dream's own craftsman.
Modern Practice
Morpheus is called on for dream work, for the incubation of an answer in sleep, and for the unravelling of a repeated dream. His practice is a dream journal and an honest account of what the shape was.
