A pada-based dasha read from the nakshatra pada of the Moon, used for the timing of the larger arcs of a life and for the questions of the body (deha) and of the life (jeeva) - the two points the system names in every chart.
Meaning
Kalachakra arranges the signs in two wheels, savya (right-turning) and apsavya (left-turning), and assigns the periods according to the pada of the birth nakshatra, so that a native's dasha sequence depends on a division of a division. Each chart has a lord of the body (deha) and a lord of the life (jeeva), which are read as the two poles of the period.
