Meaning
A modern figure built by doubling around a circle of nine points. The doubling sequence 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 reduces by digit sum to 1, 2, 4, 8, 7, 5, 1, which closes a six-point loop on the nine-point circle; the remaining three points, 3, 6 and 9, are then held to be outside the loop and are given a special status. The claim made for the figure is that it describes the shape of energy flow in space, and coils wound to its pattern are sold for that reason.

Construction
Place the digits 1 to 9 around a circle, with 9 at the top. Starting at 1, double and take the digit sum: 1 to 2 to 4 to 8 to 7 to 5 and back to 1. The digits 3, 6 and 9 never appear in the loop, and 9 is read as the axis. The arithmetic is correct; the physical and metaphysical claims built on it are not part of any geometry and are not accepted by mathematics.
