A note on this entry A 20th-century harmonic aspect. The ninth-part division is also used in Indian astrology, where it produces the navamsa (each 3 degrees 20 minutes of a sign) and is a divisional chart rather than an aspect: the analogy is real, the transmission is not. Do not present the novile as Vedic.
