Cherubim (Kerubim) in the received planetary tables. Agrippa's scale of ten disagrees with them and with itself: it gives Chesed, the sphere he assigns to Jupiter, the Hasmallim or Chashmalim — the 'glowing ones', the electrum — and puts the Kerubim at Yesod. The Cherubim attribution is the later synthesis and is recorded here as such, not as Agrippa's own sentence.
Yod-He-Pe-Yod-Aleph-Lamed, 10 + 5 + 80 + 10 + 1 + 30, summing to 136 — the total of Jupiter's four-by-four square. The two yods and the aleph fall in the single cell that holds 11, so the character touches that single cell three times over, which is what makes the printed sigil read the way it does.
Office
The intelligence is Jupiter's benevolent face: the spirit 'to good' through which the sphere's virtue is drawn down. Its office is therefore the planet's own — increase, beneficence, honour, peace, the settling of quarrels and the making of fortunes — and Agrippa attributes nothing further to it. The office lists found in the handbooks, including the conferring of wealth on demand and the reconciling of enemies, restate Jupiter's virtues rather than reporting anything Agiel-like from a source.
