Formation

Saturn in Capricorn or Aquarius (own signs) or in Libra (exaltation), placed in the 1st, 4th, 7th or 10th bhava from the lagna, and free of affliction.

Fruit

Authority over others, discipline, and a position of command held by endurance rather than by charm; an austere temperament, a long life, and power over the labour and the lands of others. The classical texts add a cold or dark complexion.

Meaning

Sasa is the Saturn form of the mahapurusha yoga: the eminence of the administrator, the person who holds an institution together. The hare (sasa) is Saturn's emblem, and the yoga's authority is read as structural rather than personal.
