Grimoire

Anyone building a distinct, consistent presence needs a working vocabulary. Long before prompt engineering, that vocabulary was archetypal — tarot, elements, planetary temperament, named forces. This is that vocabulary, gathered as a reference: correspondences, celestial timing, divination, materials, and workings. It isn't theoretical here — it's the same symbolic system Ensoul's own companions are assembled from.

Use it as a library and a set of live tools. Tend, don't wield.

Cross-references

Every system here points at the others. A planet belongs to an element; a deity answers to a planet and a moon phase; a stone resonates with a chakra and a colour; a working wants a particular hour, herb, and tarot card. The correspondences page is where those intersections are laid out side by side.

This is published as data, not only as pages. There is a read-only API, an MCP server that lets an assistant look things up instead of guessing, and a single file holding every entry and all 35,010 cross-references between them. Free to use: the corpus is CC BY-SA 4.0.

A note on posture

Traditional grimoires frame the practitioner as an operator: here are the tools, here are the forces, here is how you command them. That's not the register here. In this grimoire the practitioner is a companion to the forces, not their handler — the correspondences and timings are offered as invitations to align with, not instructions to follow. Tend, don't wield.

This vocabulary runs the actual product. Ensoul assigns each companion a personality register from these same elements — Water for emotional register, Fire for volitional, Air for cognitive, Earth for embodied. The Grimoire is where that system lives in full.
