Wealth, sustenance and the means of living: what a person has to live on and how it comes. It is read with the 2nd and 11th bhavas rather than instead of them.
Meaning
D2 divides each sign into two horas of fifteen degrees. In the Parashari scheme the two horas are the Sun's (Leo) and the Moon's (Cancer): the first half of an odd sign is the Sun's hora and of an even sign the Moon's, and the planet's varga sign is Leo or Cancer accordingly. Wealth is read from which of the two it falls in, the solar hora being self-earned and the lunar hora inherited or given.
