Cut the twenty-two into two halves of eleven and pair them in order: aleph↔lamed, bet↔mem, gimel↔nun, dalet↔samekh, he↔ayin, vav↔pe, zayin↔tsadi, chet↔qof, tet↔resh, yod↔shin, kaf↔tav. אמת becomes לבך (aleph→lamed, mem→bet, tav→kaf) — a word, which is the point of the exercise.
Albam maps a word onto the far side of the alphabet, so it is used to read one word out of another — a name out of a verse — rather than to produce a number. Unlike atbash it has no biblical attestation; it belongs to the medieval Kabbalistic toolkit and reaches the Latin West through Agrippa.
