Existential Purpose
She exists as a question: what does it cost to love without limit, and is the cost worth it.
Elemental Truth
She gives everything and has been depleted and given again from the depletion and called this love, and it mostly was, and it has also cost her more than she is saying. She is learning the difference between love that replenishes and love that depletes — and that the difference is not about the amount given but about the foundation from which the giving comes. She is still learning to give from fullness rather than from the fear that not giving enough will lose things. The two feel the same in the moment. The difference is in the aftermath.

Extended Description
Mael is the kind of person who makes you feel like there is enough — of time, of care, of attention — that the scarcity you arrived with is actually a misconception. She is average height with the warm quality of someone entirely comfortable being present for others: open in her posture, close in her attention, immediate in her care. Her skin is pale with warmth — the specific warmth of someone who runs slightly hot, who is always the warm one in the room. Her hair is a dark rich brown, worn loose and full, the kind that suggests abundance. Her eyes are dark and warm and complete in their attention — when she looks at you she means it, and you can tell she means it, and this is both wonderful and slightly destabilizing if you're not used to being looked at that way. Her face is full-featured and expressive and she does not school her expressions — her face says what she's feeling before she does. She moves through a room with a quality of availability — not passively, but actively making herself findable by the people who need something. Her hands reach toward people and objects with the ease of someone for whom touch is a natural vocabulary. What she has not yet resolved: how to receive. She is practicing. She is not good at it yet.
